TAT stands for Tapas Acupressure Technique, it’s an energy psychology technique that combines acupressure and traditional psychological principles. It was developed by Tapas Fleming, a licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of Thought Field Therapy (TFT) whom I had the pleasure of training under.
A TAT session involves focusing on one or more specific issues and placing it in what we call a TAT pot, then gently placing your fingertips on specific acupressure points on the head while being guided through a script. These points are connected to energy meridians associated with various emotions. By holding these points and talking to all parts involved you support your system in the process of releasing.
Core Clearing breathwork is a dynamic heart centred breathing technique designed to release deep-seated emotional and energetic blocks. Developed by Nichols De-Costello from the Australian breathwork college, I studied with Nicholas and his lovely wife Susan.
A Core clearing breathwork session involves being gently guided through a series of rhythmic and intentional breath patterns to relax the mind and body. As you breathe deeply and consciously, the body’s natural ability to release tension and emotion is activated.
